There are various ways that you can shortcut or save resources you use often for easy access another time. Such resources can be eBooks, posters, planning documents- and so on.
Within FolensOnline, you can favourite an item. To do this, click the Favourite 'star' button next to the resource:
This will place the resource or eBook amongst your saved Favourites on your FolensOnline homepage:
(You can simply un-favourite an item by clicking this 'star' again.)
You can also create internet browser bookmarks or desktop shortcuts. To create a bookmark within Google Chrome, when on the page that you wish to save as a bookmark, click the Favourite 'star' button within the address bar:
Click Add bookmark. You will then be given options as to not only what to call your bookmark, but also where to place it. The Bookmarks bar is a handy place to quickly access bookmarks (note- if you are not seeing the bookmarks bar, you may not have any saved bookmarks at this point. You can also try toggling the bookmarks bar on or off by press the Ctrl + B keys simultaneously).
To create a desktop shortcut within Google Chrome:
- Click the three dots (⋮) button on the top-right corner of your screen.
- Click More tools.
- Click Create shortcut. This automatically places the shortcut on your desktop.
Please note- saving resources as Favourites within FolensOnline is supported. Creating browser bookmarks and desktop shortcuts is not an in-built function of FolensOnline and as such would not be supported by Folens.
